You said that you don't know if you would accept the answer, even if you had it. To me that sounds like you've become fond of asking the question and the answer is of no use to you; one or 3000 spiritual awakenings wouldn't be enough to awake you from this "illusion".
If you would really feel for so many of us as to say we are all one then so much sorrow and joy would be in your life that things would just not make much sense. To be quite honest, it must be a polarizing and contradicting experience oscillating your way through life.

O.k. I get where you are coming from and that's why in a way I was a bit hesitant to reply to this. If it's just a poem, then there's not much point to my reply. I just felt like I've been in a similar situation and I could identify with him so I ended up commenting on it.
