16th Century Design Portfolio

Medeival predecessors of today’s designers shared a similar problem – how to get their work seen. In lieu of fancy websites or notebooks they produced a portfolio book to show potential clients. Few of these books have survived to see the 21st century but one, known as the Macclesfield Alphabet Book, was recently found by the British Library.
