Have you voted yet? Why or why not?
Early voting has begun in many states, and lots of people have received their mail-in ballots. President Obama has been pushing voters in swing states to vote early.

The first Tuesday after the first Monday in November was not legally declared Election Day until 1845. According to CNN, 22 percent of voters voted early in 2004, and 30 percent of voters did so in 2008.

Yes, because there's a lot on the line in this election, especially in California where we have the chance to require labeling of GMOs. Corporate interests are pouring millions into advertising to try to prevent prop 37 from passing. I can't contribute like:
Monsanto - $7,100,500
DuPont - $4,900,000
Pepsi - $2,145,400
Bayer - $2,000,000
Dow - $2,000,000
BASF - $2,000,000
Syngenta - $2,000,000
Kraft Foods - $1,950,000
Coca-Cola - $1,455,500
Nestle - $1,315,600
General Mills - $1,135,000
ConAgra - $1,077,000
Kellogg’s - $790,000
Smithfield - $684,000But I can cast my one vote and if enough of us do we can stand up to these corporations that don't want us to know what we're feeding our families.

Voted absentee in person, because I won't have to worry about getting to my own polling place while helping with GOTV.

Mail in ballot is signed, sealed, and ready to deliver. Only because it gives me more time to read and research, with access to GOOGLE, so I can dig deep in to the private lives of all the candidates. You'd be surprised at what you can find, too.
