Hi Folks, it’s that time again, hold on to your hats for this week’s Topic of the Week!
This week’s topic came up in a very round about way, which is unsurprising given the random nature of related stories, but is very fitting for this month. While I was browsing the popular stories I saw “US researchers find strong link between physical warmth and happiness” I couldn’t agree more, and it seems most people felt the same way, especially Current staff (nudge nudge building management) so grab a cuppa and read if you’re interested.

After reading the story and the comments I checked out the “Keep Browsing” section because, you know, I wanted to keep browsing, and I saw an item titled “Guitar-boat!”. How you resist clicking on that, I have no idea. This may be the coolest boat ever, it looks so realistic! I want. I’m sure there’s some clever joke in there, but it’s just not coming to me.

From there I found the item, “Who said fruit was good for you?”, there are a bunch of really funny and amazingly created characters made out of food, browse through if you want a chuckle.

And finally, from this item I came to the one that inspired my topic of the week: “A pumpkin's last request” from the pumpkin itself.

Come on guys, for all the ghoulish Halloween-y cheer that these round fellas bring, their few requests sound pretty reasonable. A scary face? Yeah, I can do that…not well, but people will get the general idea. And I will be sure to drop you out of the upper window once you get all droopy and mushy. Also, on a personal note, please don’t carve Sarah Palin or Barack Obama into your pumpkin, that’s creepy, not scary.
So thanks Goldenways for bringing up the very important topic of pumpkins, and pumpkin rights.
