First up, submitted by WorldPeaceTV, "FOR SALE: Actual Space Shuttles, NASA seeks buyers for three shuttles"
That's right, NASA has three space shuttles for sale! I guess even NASA is feeling pinched by the economy huh? According to the article, a total of 6 shuttles were built. The remaining 3 for sale (actually two because one of them is headed to the Smithsonian) are all that's left. So if you've always wanted your own space ship and happen to have $42 million dollars lying around, you better hurry to your local NASA dealer while supplies last because these things are flying off the shelves! Check out the article to see what else is for sale!
Next, we have "Obama to replace Nixon's White House bowling alley with basketball court"
submitted by asherp.
I like basketball (more than bowling) and think the court would be awesome, but I also don't want to see the bowling alley go. I don't see why they can't just add the court without removing the bowling? Why not just expand the White House with another floor or room? I just hate to see a piece of history go. Check out the article for more detail and even pictures of Obama ballin'.
Finally, we have "Headbanging could cause brain damage"
Submitted by smurph25.
According to researchers from University of new South Wales in Australia, rock or metal with at least 146 beats per minute combined with a head-swing arc of 45 degree will cause mild head and neck injury. Haha! I laughed so hard when I read that. I think on some level, we all knew that was true. The most obvious of these injuries is whiplash. Is it possible to still rock out wearing a neck brace? Check out the article for more details and see which rocker suffered a stroke from headbanging!
