As you know, we all have wildly different tastes and interests, and while some people might use current strictly to read and discuss the latest news taking place around the world, others manage to find other creative uses for our little home on the Interwebs.

Their rapid submission rate scored them the top spot on top contributor list this week, and brought back some fond memories.

Take for instance, anyone who spent time trying to hunting around Konami's sequel to Simon Belmont's tango with Dracula will recall the 8-bit theme from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest.

Either way, our previous weeks top contributor, AwesomeJosh, was narrowly unseated by metacookiesxy70 by only a margin of 8 stories. Now, I know what many of you might be thinking, "this isn't news!" or "how is this current-related?" Well just keep in mind, everyone's taste is different, which means that everyone's method of participation on Current is going to differ.

As many of you know, we're making some changes to Current:News, and I've been hinting at some bigger changes for Current.com. We're very aware of differing interests on Current, and some of our enhancements set to roll out in the new year will help address this.
