Winter is a time of many celebrations, and we want to wish everyone a Happy Christmas/Yule/Winter Solstice/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/day off work.
Personally, I'm interested in seeing all the different ways people celebrate this season, so I thought I'd share so me interesting holiday-related links I've found.
If you're celebrating Christmas, you might want to check out Norad's Santa Tracker.
http://www.noradsanta.org/ (You can also track Santa on Twitter--just follow noradsanta)
Or, you can check out this gallery of kids scared of Santa. I'll admit to finding some of these absolutely hilarious.

It's a little late for the Winter Solstice, but you can read about the origins of various Winter Solstice celebrations here:

Tonight is the fourth night of Hanukkah, and I found a lot of great information here:
http://www.chabad.org/holidays/chanukah/default_cdo/jewish/Hanukkah.htm
But none of it beat this DIY LED mini Menorah. Crafty, geeky, and festive? Count me in!

I'll admit, I don't know a lot about Kwanzaa, so I thought this was really interesting.

For those of you who don't celebrate any of these, did you know that today is National Egg Nog day? I didn't, and I also didn't realize there were so many different recipes for egg nog! I may have to try one of these out.

Finally, tomorrow is also National Pumpkin Pie Day. Regardless of what holidays you celebrate, I can't think of a better excuse to curl up with slice of pie and a glass of egg nog and relax.
Happy Holidays!
