tin foil hat time: birthdays and time travel [conspiracy theory]

Who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory? Right? Well, check out this doozy:

<tongue firmly in cheek>

The Miller Family have been basking in the glow of their latest addition to their family since the birth of Molly Reid this past Wednesday.  Molly was born on 09/09/09, and is the younger sister to Campbell, who just so happens to have been born on 08/08/08. Yes, you read that right, but that's not all. Apparently, Molly Reid has 9 letters in her first name, while Campbell has 8. Spooky right? Hold on, it gets more telling.

Molly was born on a Wednesday, and looking back at the calendar confirms that Campbell was, in fact, born on a Wednesday as well. there is nothing worth noting there, because she was actually born on a Friday.

BUT, on the very same day that this chilling story is making the rounds, we are receiving word that someone out there has managed to make a real-life working flux capacitor...AND they are selling it off on Amazon! Fans of Back to the Future know exactly what that means...

  1. Flux capacitors are the key to time travel. This is FACT -- Doc Brown laid out the details very clearly in the first film, duh!

  2. Anyone selling a flux capacitor has already taken full advantage of its time traveling advantages and has no use for it any more. [keep this in mind for later]

  3. 09/09/09 was a pretty loaded day: It was the date that The Beatles: Rock Band and The Beatles remastered albums were released, Tim Burton's 9 was released, and new Apple products were announced. C'mon, The Beatles? Apple? 9? Tell me these aren't connected.

  4. Speaking of The Beatles, one of the biggest conspiracies back in the day revolved around the real Paul McCartney being dead. Everyone knows that the real McCartney died back in 1966.

The proof is evident. The real Paul McCartney used a flux capacitor to travel back to 1966, tell the secrets behind the flux capacitor to his former self, who then traveled further back in time to the year of his birth, subsequently spurring the rumors that was in fact dead in 1966, then jump back to 2009 to deposit his infant self at an Alabama hospital in place of the Mitchell's newborn daughter...

Oh, wait.

OK, that may not be it, but SOMETHING is going on, and I'm going to get to the bottom of it.
