The cast has to wait for reactions from the audience and I thought the timing was so off. It's like that really bad live 30 Rock show a few weeks ago. It's painful. I still love the cast but I think the audience is super distracting. Please please go back.

So rotten tomatoes gets cancelled because it changed its format against the wishes of all its fans and you guys are now doing the same thing... wonderful. Was this bret's idea so that all that will play on current is viral video film school? Cause i'm sure not listening to your fans will get you cancelled as well

Okay, I was informed that this discussion was moved to the Feedback area, so I'll restate my thoughts on the live audience format:
I fricking hated it. Part of the reason I fell in love with infoMania was because it was very intelligent humor. It made you think, and you didn't always know what just hit you. Now, you're being told when to laugh. (And it's somewhat forced, mind you.) This isn't Tosh.0. Also, the audience takes away the beauty of editing and crafted skits. Conor, I love you, but you need to stop laughing at your own jokes. The audience changes the stars of infoMania. It sort of pumps them up and makes them almost giddy. It makes them lose that cynicism that is such an essential part of the infoMania brand of humor. I'll give it another chance next week, but I hope I'm not seeing the first seeds of a new, dumbed-down infoMania. - 1 year ago
