Ughhhh! Cant' wait! I'm so glad to have Cenk back on Youtube but we GOT to get him out there in on TV. I think this has the makings of a great future relationship (Current TV/The Young Turks Army)

Stop bashing voters, the president, and organizations for not being liberal enough. Sure Current is better than MSNBC, that goes without saying, but MSNBC also has a much larger audience and they still have good progressive voices in their line up. Hopefully we can get to a place where most TV outlets and shows are liberal, thus representing the will of the America people. We won't get there bashing center left media outlets like MSNBC. Positivity, motivation, and encouragement is how the left wins elections.

Is this going to replace the youtube channels and the site?

If so, its a completely terrible idea. There is a reason they are the largest ONLINE news show in the world. Its easier to watch the videos and a live stream then on TV.

Is there going to be any way to watch this in Canada?

I agree with Justin Garcia get Rachel Maddow (and I add Ed Shultz too!) off of MSNBC and over to the Current Family!

I am thrilled to learn that Cenk Uygur and the Young Turks are joining the Current TV family! I wondered what happened to Cenk's show on MSNBC, then saw him intereviewed on Keith's show. It is truly MSNBC's lost and our gain that Mr. Uygur is back on the air we need to have more progressive voices like his and Keith's. Thank God for Current TV!

Great another voice for progressives. I wish the progressives would ask, if the republican'ts were elected in 2010 to fix the economy; and things are worse. When democrats were elected in 2006 and 2008 was this so the republican'ts could just said no; is this why the dems were elected so the recant's could say no to everything. Is this country slipping back to the brain dead again.

This is great! I enjoyed you guys youtube coverage of the election process. You guys even granted me third party permission to use your video clips in my own history making video about President Obama. We are in need of a progressive journalism as yours. I just wish the major FREE TV networks would take a page from you all book. I'm sure that's one reason why Dan Rather left.

So relieved! My immediate thought when Cenk was fired was, "well, he can go over to Current TV like Keith Olbermann! MSNBC doesn't realize what dumb bunnies they were for firing these two guys!

Glad to see this site isn't as filled with angry stay at home Fox News viewers that think the most ignorant things thanks to Faux News. Well, back to work. Break time is over.

Amazing news, one of my two favourite online news shows are on TV! Glad Current is including the whole group, the dynamic between them makes their show that much stronger. May I recommend the other show as well, as there are still more slots to fill: The Real News. Far more informative and very good journalism, if not quite as uplifting and entertaining as The Young Turks.

This will do a lot for Current's ratings, not to mention boost their credibility even more than Keith did. It certainly will boost their Progressive bona fides.
I only hope for 2 things: 1. that they start podcasting these shows on iTunes (and streaming for those who are out of the country or who don't have access to a cable company who subscribes), and 2. that they begin to round out the progressive roster with more hosts.
Who can be next? Any suggestions/predictions?

GREAT NEWS! Right after Cenk left MSNBC he was on with Countdown with Keith, and I remember at the close that Keith saying to Cenk "we'll be in touch."

It's about time. Was wondering when the brain trusts at Current would sign him up. Now they need 2 more for the line up for the 9:00 and 10:00 PM time slots.

I had to upgrade my Comcast plan to get Current TV, but it is totally worth it. I have been a paying member of the Young Turks for many years and I am so happy that more people will be exposed to them.

Current needs to start streaming (with comercials ) their programs again. half the cable stations dont carry them and half of us dont subscribe to cable at all, just straight net veiwership. So start streaming again current!!!!

best thing current has done in a while, even better than olberman and I like Olberman and recognize hes probably a big reason the turks are here. Hope they dont dumb them down or censor them.

Super Psyched! I've been a paid member of the TYT Army for a while and can't wait to see them on Current. I am concerned about what will happen to the TYT Network with the 7pm Current show as they air on TYT from 6-8pm. Anyone know how that is going to be handled?
