Santorum: Obama ‘in bed with Muslim Brotherhood’

While speaking to Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, presidential candidate Rick Santorum attacked President Obama accusing him of not having done enough to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

“The main thing that has to be done is we need to do what President Obama was very willing to do in Egypt and Libya — but seems reticent to do in Syria and Iran, those two connected states — which is to support the pro-democracy movement in those countries,” Santorum explained. “The president was willing to jump in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya and in Egypt, but actually sided with Syria in this struggle by recognizing them as a government for the first time in many many years.”

“And of course during the elections in 2009 when the Green Revolution was sparked in Iran, he sided with [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad and the Mullahs. Again, if you are an enemy of the United States, you’re going to get very nice treatment from Obama. But if you’re a friend, you’re going to get thrown under the bus.”

    • This guy is a fool and a coward. Saw one Q & A session he held a few weeks ago. He so fully avoided a direct question about gay marriage and the right of people to marry whom they please I could tell he was great as a child playing "hide and seek".
      Again, as with the air-head broad they stuck McCain with in 2008, this man is scary. He's so narrow minded his shorts squeak.

    • I could swear I watched something on Current that recently said there have been many reports by high ranking officials that Iran does NOT have any nuclear weapons. Unless I'm completely mistaken, it sounds like a certain someone needs a fact check. While he is at it, maybe he should get a print out of the part of our law stating there is to be a separation of church and state.
