Romney to Change the Subject by Naming His Veep
Submitted by FreeSpiritMuse
According to the The New York Times, Mitt Romney will soon choose his running mate to distract himself from the latest claims during his tenure at Bain Capital and his limited disclosure on tax returns. Romney may have committed a felony if the federal disclosures he filed about his work at Bain turn out to be inaccurate.
After a short-lived presidential bid of his own last year, Tim Pawlenty is again being considered for the Republican ticket. His fate is in the hands of Mr. Romney, a rival-turned-friend, who is on the cusp of announcing his vice-presidential selection. Mr. Romney has reached a decision, his friends believe, and he may disclose it as soon as this week.
The community responds to Romney's attempt to fix the Bain problem:
Varex_Sythe: "Ooooo, can it be Sarah Palin again? She was absolutely hilarious, in a frightening sort of way, last presidential election."
FreeSpiritMuse: "This Republican campaign is so predictable. I wrote this yesterday on another site. It's the only way they can take attention away from what Romney is attempting to hide. This is how you use the media. They had no other choice, the kitchen was getting to hot."
lazloman: "It will only change the subject for about a week. Once the dust has settled, the questions will come right back."
letsliveinpeace: "It won't work"
