It's one of the golden rules of the natural world birds live in trees, fish live in water. The trouble is, no one bothered to tell the mangrove killifish. Scientists have discovered that it spends several months of every year out of the water and living inside trees (hit pic for the whole story)-

Thats cool! I think Killifish eat mosquito larvae too. Thats makes them a triple threat.

The entire killifish family is extremely unique in this way. For those that don't leave their seasonal puddles they leave their eggs nestled deep in moist vegetation for the next rainy season. Frickin great fish.
