The problem of steroids in MLB is much more widespread than Barry Bonds. Though, this doesn't exclude him for breaking the rules and smudging one of baseball's most cherished records. The shadow of this story covers up Major League Baseball continually working on damage control to ensure that fans still buy tickets to games. From Pete Rose to striking, MLB has seen its share of controversy and might get broken if a dragnet really exposed all the players that are using steroids.

Well-said, Joe. I hate to admit it, but I don't think I even want to know how many players are using steroids. They should be held accountable, but the idea of finding out that my "heroes" are cheaters would be tough to stomach.
