In an effort to keep people from posing as republicans to throw off the primary vote, Virginia is requiring republicans to sign an oath that they will vote for a republican in the November elections as well...Call me an idealist, but I really thought you were supposed to approach elections with an open mind and without regard to party lines... I guess they would be equally pleased if democrats had to take an oath that they wouldn't change their minds and vote republican in November?

That's the lamest excuse for voter intimidation I've ever heard! It's so sad that Republicanism = facism now.

The only good thing about this situation?
The oath is not legally enforceable.
So it's a scare tactic. Which doesn't make it any less lame.
