Philly anchor woman punches NYC cop

Alycia Lane, the evening newsreader on KYW-TV, was charged with second-degree assault after she hit a female officer in the face early Saturday morning in NYC. It is also alleged that she used a lesbian slur before she hit the woman.

What is even better is this is the new anchor who already made headlines for sending revealing photos of herself to a married man. News anchors gone wild!

Wonder how long she will keep her job?

    • Here in the UK our politicians hit people in the face all the time. They can't seem to get enough of it... I'd watch the news all the time if it was just people hitting each other....

    • being a native Philly person myself I can speak to temporary insanity that looms over each person who lives there. After all my life there I have a certain level of Philly pride and also thankful that I have moved VERY far away. I took special notice of my insanity when I tottally lost it with a trafic cop at the airport. She needs to move away and find her happy place.

    • What do you expect from someone who lives in a city that's known for throwing snowballs and bottles at Santa Claus and has a jail system in their sport stadiums. Sounds like she fits right in with the city.
