CNN is getting in on the citizen journalism game with a new website launching this week. The iReport initiative will soon have a home at iReport.com, a new Web site built entirely on user-produced news. CNN calls it the perfect place for
"wannabe Anderson Coopers to upload videos, photos and audio files through an easy-to-use interface. Visitors to the site can search for specific clips or sift through various news categories, such as politics or weather...The community will decide what the news is." Sound like any website we know?

    • Susan Grant is executive vp of CNN News Services...quoting from the article:

"Grant agreed. “We like being first,” she said. “This is an opportunity to create a relationship with a global audience.”"
someone needs to tell Grant she's a little late to this game. =) (good job current!!!)
