The ideal home for 34 cats and 7 dogs does not bring to mind the image of a caravan, but that's exactly where 47 year old William Cannon and Angela Edwards, 50, have been keeping their 41 pets.
The caravan's exact dimensions measure 7ft by 12ft which makes it pretty cosy to be sure. The couple have been banned from keeping pets for life and were sentenced to 4 months in jail after the pets were found. I wonder how spacious their cells are...
The couple have been living in a tent at Todmorden Cricket Club, admitted to neglect of the animals. Douglass Brill, chairman of the bench, described the living space as "appalling conditions". I'm sure that remark would extend to the tent too, although you get the feeling it's pretty deserved on the part of the couple.
Some of the animals were able to be rehomed although 12 cats had to be put to sleep. Even Crimewatch got involved, that's dedication to the cause.
Edwards accepted she should have taken the animals to the RSPCA but "didn't have the heart". Hmm, clearly. Let's hope that these beasts never get to keep animals again.

I think we should try 2 coexist wit animals not keep them as pets just friendly creatures that we interact with but population must me controlled for now, just my humble opinion.

It's sad that this sort of thing is so damn common. *stuff those people is cages, beat them, neglect them...* sorry, just grumbling to myself.
