And that's what Democratic party leaders think of John Edwards... he's a blip to them. Honestly, if I thought someone else like John Edwards or Al Gore could actually win over both the Democrats and Republicans I would vote for them. I'm tired of the rhetoric on both sides. The Founding Fathers never stated that there should only be two parties in this country to be heard from. Matter of fact, George Washington and other founders were pretty much against party politics in general. I can see why. Many voices have been silenced because of it. In his 1796 farewell address, Washington warned: "The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism."

More choices! Don't forget Ralph Nader! And then there will be the Green Party candidate... Did Bill Maher cover this last night? I don't see anything on YouTube yet and I don't have HBO.
