well he works for united now. and drove them into bk as well. he was buying his wife a G-wagon when i met him. kind of a jackoff actually. this was in 2003. but anyone working for the airlines im sure is wearing peoples clothes. they actually sell those unclaimed bags and make millions a year from it!

I only flew ATA once and they lost my luggage. It was right after Christmas and all the gifts I got were never found again. I bet John York is watching my DVD's and wearing my shoes right now!

i had the president of ATA in my office years ago..the one that put them into BK the first time...john York i think was his name..he went over to united right after they filed and drove them into BK i think within a year too.
this dude was a tool. if i can remember ATA is based out of indianapolis and i was running a mercedes dealership in arlington heights IL north of chicago. this dude was a tool, and they never really emereged from that previous BK. this was 2003 but if i can remember they went into bk the first time in 2002. if anything, i think YORK should be made to pay for this. im sure what he did back them was the reason....i hope i am remembering the dudes name.
i liked ATA. it was a good airline!

The strangest part about this is that ATA failed to notify passengers and in some cases even employees that they wouldn't be flying any longer. How would you feel if you were a passenger who arrived at the airport to hear your flight no longer existed!
Check out this Report from Chicago Midway Airport.
