Playboy was introduced to Filipinos, but was faced with a bad reception for the conservative, mostly Catholic country. They fear that the arrival of Playboy "will further add to the degeneration of (Filipinos') sexual culture." The compromise that allowed for its introduction is that the magazine will avoid full-frontal nudity.

    • playboy should have known this that you can't market everywhere the same, the culture is different, people have different views, and the niche they thought they could fill in... Well with protest and all those nudity controversial will kill the meaning of what playboy stands for.
