It's so sad to see such valiant creatures have their habitats squeezed to death.

24French, we are omnivores, not carnivores, and we do allow our very carnivorous dogs and cats to live and even breed in vast numbers. :)

I am sad to say....I think we saw this coming a long time ago and not enough was done then to help the cats now. There is a reason the cats are declining, and it is not all climate change. Humans really are pretty smart, it could have been different. Could BE different!

We're pretty consistent wherever we go - We're the only carnivore we allow to keep living.

I don't want to be the one who tells my children "there used to be huge man eating cats - but we killed them". I mean, how will they ever enjoy Winnie the Pooh without Tiger?

This is a very sad state of affairs, indeed!! Woe to us when we lose such beautiful animals as these to extinction! Thank-you for bringing this to light once again.
