"Fox Noise" Messes With the Wrong Preacher!!!

raheims
Watch as a Porter Berry, the producer of The O'Reilly Factor from Fox News, gets an earful from a white pastor who is supportive of Reverend Wright. Although I wish this whole controversy would cease to exist, I cant help but laugh when I see this network continue to beat the drum of hate, based on sound bites. Somebody needs to put them in their place....good work

PS...for all who questioned the validitity of this post, I have included the link to the transcript off of the O'Reilly Factor Website......This is the real thing....

    • I love this because if you ever take the time to read Wright's sermons, it is so obvious that all that was taken out of context. And he is not the man that the right wing media, O'Reilly makes him out to be.

Tell you what I'd rather be sitting in Wright's sunday service than Hagee or Parsley anyday of the week.

    • Great post! I love how Fox just keeps digging, digging, hoping for dirt and Berry refuses to give it to them.

      Faux News = garbage.

    • Hell no. Fuck. As inspired as I was during this video, I was pissed off when I read that transcript. I hate FOX news. The transcript just reaffirms my belief. No surprise that they didn't keep the quote about how Americans that love their country love it enough to criticize it.

    • Great words. The pastor's name is Rev. Dr. Michael L. Pfleger from St. Sabina's church in Chicago. You can check out their website at the attached link.

    • Faux Noose! What a pathetic bunch!

They want to pick on Wright and call him a hater - but wait, is killing innocent children in Iraq and Afghanistan hateful?

According to Faux Noose that's all right.

Supporting the murder of innocent Palestinian children not hateful?

Again, to Faux Noose that's all right with them too.

Apparently, if it's in your financial interest, it's not hate.

My friend since Jr. high has resorted to calling me a "hater" and suggests I'm anti-American - but is all right with the lies of the Busheney gang, Alberto Gonzales, Rove pushing for capital punishment, American's being raped by big business. He says I should buy some stock and join the band wagon.

Funny, I hope and pray for him.

    • I seriously doubt the validity of this video. First of all, Fox News would never run a segment this long. Second, that rotating station id bug is a total fraud. Third, there is no mic flag on that stick mic. And fourth, we never see the reporter.

      This all looks highly suspect.

    • If only this were real... Where's the scrolling ticker at the bottom of the screen? And why would a FOX News reporter conduct a 12-minute interview on a sidewalk?

    • At least he kept his cool for the most part. I mean honestly, with an opposing force such as "FOX NEWS"...I wouldn't be able to state any of my personal opinions without them turning them down, and me wanting to smack them upside the head...Kudos for the cool.

    • This may be the best segment I have ever heard on Fox News... Talk about a backfire. I am sure they were expecting something totally different from this man. If only more people learned to think critically about everything- even religion. I applaud this pastor for his courage, and articulation and he gives me a newfound respect for the church...

    • I come from a "jesus" tradition and he said tot ake the stick our of our own eye. And Judge not that ye are not judged. I am not the one to judge anothers interpretation of their holy scriptures but I am called to be faithful to my own. Every faith tradition will use scripture to reinforce their ideology. My faith has and does. to oppress, to amass wealth etc. All faiths have true prophets who call us to reflection, analysis and action.
Stop worrying about it and make justice. It is the hope.

    • Wait does this logic mean that all Muslim's aren't evil killers as well? Could the analysis of quotes from the Quran possibly be out of context like the examples of Jesus that the pastor gives?

    • An articulate response. I am sure he won't be heard again in the media but he speaks for me. If I had a person with this theological perspective in my area I'd be running back to church. Not the " God is on Our side" theology of the majority of todays churches. There can be no love without justice.
This man should be invited to speak on Cnn as a religion pundit. He is a critical thinker not an empty headed sheep.

    • great! I loved the last part. Even though I don't know all of the information on Rev. Wright, I feel he has been screwed over by the press (especially FOX). Kudos to this guy for not only defending Wright, but our right to free speech in this country.

    • While I like this clip and dislike FOX news (if you want to call it that) I do think Wright is somewhat racist or hateful toward white people, maybe not toward individual white people, but he has most certainly shown a strong disliking for white people or the world some white people have created, which I share a disliking for. It's one thing to be against racism and divisions in America but he should definatly go about it in a less racist and less divisive way. You can't fight anti-semitism with anti-semitism, which I think Rev. Wright has done.

Fake? Maybe. but I am sure the reason for the simple spinning logo is because they didn't air the entire footage, but probably chopped it into sound bytes and spun it how they wanted to. If it is a Fox original, they are just making sure they get credit. Altough it does seem to trash any point Fox Noise was trying to make.

But who cares if it was really filmed by Fox or not?! This man speaks the TRUTH and should be given access to a larger Audience.

Altough I will point out that this whole Rev. Wright issue is an attempt to instill fear and stir up the emotions of ignorant people, while drawing attention away from any real issues.

I know many Americans are growing weary of these NON-issues from PseudoNews corporations.
Although the media has been the Fourth Branch... I for one am happy to finally see new sources of Truth bubbling up in places like Current.com and other spaces of freedom.

The revolution won't be televised, and the Truth will no longer be suppressed!

    • I'd cry to after a world class ass kickin' like that. That preacher came down on the punk like the wrath of god. I mean to tell you, he put his foot in the boys ass and MARCHED. The Fox errand boy got dipped right in the vat of whoop-ass. That's definitely going to leave a mark.

    • Fantastic response, what a true American.

There was so much truth in his words and they were spoken so decisively in the face of deceit. He turned a smear story into an opportunity.

That reporter was likely fired by the way, FOX doesn't tolerate its image being tarnished.

    • This video has been around for a while and there's been a lot of debate over whether it's a fake. FOX News never just has one little spinning logo like that. They usually have much more graphics, scrolling text, etc. The logo looks like it was added later by an amateur to give the impression this was really from FOX.

As much as I want to believe this video is real, I highly question it's legitimacy.

    • Way to go preacher man! I wonder what Bill and the crew will chop this video into...

FOX is a cancer and a blemish on America's back side. Hype, sound bites and celebrity news...with anorexic looking blondes too! FOX is not entertaining. FOX is not news.

FOX is "Fair and Balanced" only in a vacuum of ignorance.

    • Kudos to this man. We need more people to say what he said to this poor Fox reporter - true patriots love their country enough to criticize it when they see something wrong.
