My current "job" is the removal and relocation of a 100+ year old cemetery (I'm a Archeologist Tech.). The cemetery happens to be that of my family. I come face to "face" with their remains on a daily basis. I come face to face with the fact that some of the graves have been looted and dishonored. Anger and sadness are what I feel if you happened to ask. I am not religious save only in the shamanic/mystic sense. Bones to me are a collection of minerals and a wonderful way to stay upright. When it is time for me to leave mine, I will have no further use for or sentimentality towards them. BUT... what remains with the remains is the memories and/or connections the family and friends have with the deceased. To find them disturbed or looted strikes at some deep core and becomes quite personal. These urchins that thought a kid's skull would make a good bong should be taken behind the woodshed.... besides, there are too many damn holes in a skull to make it a good candidate for bong-dom. Try a 3 foot long chianti bottle instead.

I read through all the responses, some intelligent, others... And yet not one of these people said what they though about if it was their skull. So apparently you can pass judgement on the appropriate use of anothers skull, but not on your own.

I would not smoke out of a human skull. There are a LOT of things I have or would smoke weed out of, but an actual skull is not one of them.

These guys aren't druggies, pot heads, or smokers. People who smoke weed don't get up and dig up skulls to convert into bongs.

i knew a guy once who'd brought back the skull of some dude he met on iwo jima , and had had an argument with over something to do with who should leave the planet first , and he filled it with sand and used it as a doorstop , but only after his wife insisted he couldn't use it as a paperweight on their desk . skulls can be useful , though smoking through one seems sort of weird to me .

so many differant and interesting comments ive read. in my oppinion however, i do believe that this is a true story and also they might not have been high at the time it happened ,or possibly on some other type of drugs. i do feel that it was a complete violation to the childs corpes inside the coffen. how sad (rest in peace) not for him. i think that kids get so incredibly bored with the things that have already been done that they feel they need to up the anty, and make there own story.

Is it really the pot that ruins lives, or the illegality put on cannabis/hemp that ruins lives? Do you really know anyone that has had their lives ruined due to cannabis/hemp? Would their lives have been ruined due to their own personal problems, had cannabis/hemp not been added to the mix?

The terms 'pot'/'marijuana' are used to demonize cannabis/hemp. People say it's a gateway drug. I tend to disagree. The gateway comes from the fact that cannabis is not strong enough to wash away the problems they are trying to get away from. Many turn to harder drugs and alcohol searching for a stronger substance to escape from personal problems.

I have to admit, life is hard and with the propaganda put out about marijuana, they smoke thinking it will make their lives easier. When it doesn't, they move on, in search of some other substance which they think will ease their misery.

ummm i do not think these kids are anything like the average pot head. They were ither severely disturbed, or on other drugs besides pot.
when was the last time you've heared of a pot head motivated enough to do all that work. I think it's a horrible thing that was done and these kids should pay.

Lately there has been a dialog on current and other sites regarding cannabis and industrial hemp. A story soo despicable will stop the conversation. No one will want to talk about cannabis or industrial hemp, because people will think about these three kids in this story smoking from a skull.

There have been distractions put out by mainstream media and the government every time legal cannabis/hemp is discussed. Thereby stifling the conversation. If they manage to stifle the conversation through yellow journalism, it benefit’s the people who are making money from competitive products.

Throughout history there have been dysfunctional people, with no morals, adults and children. Some abuse animals, some rob, murder ...

Their crime is not due to marijuana. It is due to their lack of morals. They should be shamed and locked up, just like any other criminal.
