Clinton compares her campaign to JFK in 1960

Ok, I'm a little confused. I know that Hillary is the underdog now, but didn't Kennedy win the 1960 election. Now unless my little crystal ball is wrong, I think Senator Clinton is behind in every statistical category as of today. But hey I could be wrong; the 1960 election was a controversial one. Something about votes that came up missing....hmmmm, what are you planning Mrs. Clinton?

One of my favorite quotes from the article:

"It was West Virginia that made it possible for John Kennedy to become president," Clinton told 400 supporters at a local high school. "John Kennedy didn't have the number of delegates he needed when he went to the convention in 1960; he had something equally as important -- he had West Virginia behind him."

(West Virginia is equally as important as having more delegates overall? Really?)

And another, where her surrogates try's to compare the OBama people to Bush:

"We've already had one unfortunate experience with a leader declaring 'mission accomplished' when it really wasn't," Garin said, referring to the now infamous sign that greeted Bush aboard the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln following the fall of Baghdad in 2003."

Check it out

Peace

    • So if she is just like JK then she also had an affair with Marilyn Monroe right? Please, please correct me if I'm wrong, my imagination will thank you. And also what's with the quote at the end...

"She's an American, a real American. It's just good to know that she has the same ancestors as us, that her family goes back for generations and generations and generations."

... and generations until OMG!!! one of her ancestors decided to come on over from Not-America!

But seriously what is this woman driving at by this point?
