Last person out of WTC speaks on local news

Among the hundreds of people that William Rodriguez saved on Sept 11, 2001, was Filipe David, a co-worker in the basement of the WTC, whose face and hands were badly burned. His injuries couldn’t have come from the airplane above, but only from a massive explosion below.

"After 9/11, that beautiful thing that we had in the 60s, that activism, was totally erased because of the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act totally eliminated 50 years of Civil Rights. When they use 9/11, our tragedy, our despair, to create this policy, this agenda against the people here and abroad of course I had a responsibility to open my mouth and complain.
