Robo-toilets proposed to stop "gay" cruising

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jim Naugle has proposed robotic toilets to stop gay men from having sex in public restrooms.

I'm baffled, I can't believe this is an issue and that gay men are being blamed.

      Maybe someone is in search of something that doesn't really happen?

      Let well enough alone I say...

      Public restrooms are for one thing usually...let's make sure that we can catch the pedophiles if we can but not worry about poor souls who just need to go potty real bad.

      I say, let's use these facilities MORE and we will see less of the other stuff going on:)

    • Umm. I don't get it. How will this eliminate homosexual encounters? Is there a camera inside?

      Also, Jonathan, I'm sure I am not opposed to your statements, except can you explain the part where homosexuals have MORE spousal (partner) abuse than heterosexuals. That one seems way wrong.

    • Actually, I find that homosexuals conduct themselves in a much better manner then heterosexuals.
      You don't see gays having sex in public restrooms. That is *such* a heterosexual fad.

      Besides,obviously the minorities would get picked on.
      It's kind of like Home Depot saying how it needs a way to get rid of the Mexicans that hang out outside of the store, even if Caucasians also loiter there. It's simply the minority getting picked on, nothing else.

      So, Jonathan_Armesto, I disagree with you.
      Homosexuality may only be tolerated here in the US, it's actually accepted in other places.
      Think outside the proverbial box we Americans are trapped in, yes?
