Andy Murray has lost the biggest match of his career against Rafael Nadal in the men's quarter-finals at Wimbledon.
The Scot never really found any kind of form as the world number two Nadal showed his class, easing into the semi-final with a 6-3 6-2 6-4 win.

    • Murray's bewildered gameplay silently admitted he had no answers for Nadal's firepower. He wasn't given a single chance to repeat Monday's heroics.

Who said this kid was is tailored for clay courts? He'll soon enough be the proud owner of all surfaces.. que viva el terreno.

    • Nadal was just far too good for Murray. I still think Federer will win it in the end.

But how long before Murray gets the same treatment as Henman from people who know nothing about tennis?

    • I've gotta admit, Nadal was relentless. Some of the shots he pulled were amazing. My money's on him to win it.

My favourite bit of the match, when the woman shouted out 'I love you Rafa' which he followed up with a set winning shot. Classic.
