Rich Harden traded to Cubs!!!

The A's however get Sean Gallagher, Eric Patterson, and Matt Murton in this deal....
The A's sure will miss his pressence on the team.

    • Thanks haskins, I'll have faith in that. I also have faith in Billy Beane. I mean... he deserves a little trust after the killer moves he made this offseason, right? The Tim Hudson trade a few years back is the only one that really never panned out. *sigh*

    • As a Cubs fan, I will console you: Sean Gallagher has an excellent career ahead of him, Murton still is developing, and now you can totally benefit from the ex-Cub curse.

    • As an A's fan, it pains me to see the ace of our staff shipped out yet again. This deal doesn't seem nearly as sweet as the Haren deal, although Murton and Patterson have yet to live up to their potential.

      With Harden's injury-riddled past, and decreasing velocity over his last two starts, one has to assume Billy Beane knows better than the rest of us. Kinda sucks, though, Harden is absolutely filthy when he's dealing.
