In a bid to understand the impact of the wind produced by cows on global warming, scientists collected gas from their stomachs in plastic tanks attached to their backs."
I think the photo of a cow and her fart bag is hilarious!

Now we have to worry about guy farts too.. See the proof! What an image!
You know guys are actually proud of their bodily functions.. farts, poops, leaks? (yeah amazing observation.. I know..)
I was married once and my x-husband actually would lean over and pretty much "aim" his fart in a direction away from himself... unconsciously so I thought.. but he did it on purpose! And ... Yeah he lit them on fire too // wth?
Am I the only girl that goes to the restroom when I feel kinda gassy? (Um yeah I do that.. do others?.. now I am curious...)

They also did this study on humans and found that males produce more gas that females. But only by a slim margin.

genetically engineer corn-eating cows. Problem solved, and we could probably do it within a decade.

I heard they are already harvesting the methane gas produced by cow poop to energy.

Seriously though, can't methane also be used as fuel? Does it burn clean?

When they tested this on MythBusters, it was confirmed, but the UCDavis professor who tested it said it mostly came out from the front in burp form.

Do you realize that some farms are harnessing this as "green energy"? lqimh (laughing quietly in my head)

Use the methane as biofuel. Remember kids, don't buy organic unless you know it's local grown.

And then they will start producing as many more as they can.

We also raise most of these cows in concentrated animal feeding farms that use 85% more energy than than cattle raised by the sun and natural grain.
Organically raised cattle contributes to 40% less greenhouse gas emissions than industrial beef.
Buy local grass-fed, if you have to eat beef at all.

Not only do they produce methane, which does not really seem like the problem, but stropharia cubensis spring up from there dung which is A.O.K with me.

I'm doing all I can to solve the problem by eating the cows, but I'm only one man!

i appreciate that ur helping out by controlling the cow population, but they still hurt the environment because it takes a whole lot of fuel to raise them up until they get killed in the slaughterhouse (bc u gotta get them from point a to b). And then you'd have to put their meat in the fridge trucks so that they can get to the supermarket and in ur belly.

and then to the toilet, dont forget; what goes in, has to come out, and what comes out, floats to the sea and wastes water, puts poop in the surf!
I am about to eat sushi, that's right, dead raw fish, yum yum. I tried to eat a cow over the 4th and it made me so sick for days. Thats why I don't eat meat too much.
If we didn't eat them, then they would eat us. ARRRG RUN, ha haa - 3 years ago

The photo is hilarious indeed. What's not funny is that the meat industry contributes more to global disruption than all cars, trucks, boats and planes combined. Yet another reason to become a vegetarian.
