However he did not comment on the rights and wrongs of the dispute, saying he did not wish to "interfere" in the debate. This is despite a recent statement from the Vatican that ordaining women as Bishops "will be an obstacle to its reconcilliation with the Roman Catholic Church."

The Pope is correct it is entirely a matter for the Anglican community to resolve.
However, I feel that the reign of the current Archbishop of Canterbury has been a disaster for Anglicanism unlike the current Archbishop of York who has demonstrated leadership and is inspiring and charismatic.
