    • This man apparently has no shame. To appear on network television and spew all these lies and hold a straight face puts him in the same catagory as Ronnie Raygun as an actor. Abad actor but an actor, the most incredible part is a few people actually believe the dirvvel this man spews.

    • this is a pretty good article about the derivatives market. It has explanations is you don't know anything about the economy.

if what it says is true, we should all be very scared. otherwise, I guess we're okay. I live in texas and it's not tooo bad down here but there were never any good jobs anyway. the cost of living has to be low because so few people make a living wage.

    • Let's see, Bush fiddles while the banks go up in flames. Bush seems more absorbed in increasing the immediate stock values of his buddies, the oil companies, by lifting off-shore drilling restrictions, thus increasing the oil reserves of these oil companies. Ten to fifteen years from now, when these off-shore areas go into production, the polar ice will already have melted and the planet will by then be in a state of ecological chaos.

ADM did well when Bush stupidly dictated that the US taxpayer subsidize mythenol (and ADM) to the tune of eighty-five cents a gallon. The net result is a few very grateful pigs at ADM, global grain prices raising 75% and untold millions who can no longer afford Bush's expensive and wasted energy plan and the food price increases it caused. Come to think of it, Bush has his hand in all of our pockets with every loaf of bread and every gallon of milk and gas. But then we know he never intended it to be anything other than a rip-off clothed in the guise of an energy policy.
