    • If they are worried about taxing, haven't they thought of just making the seeds illeagal?

That way they can tax what they like for the end product and people will stay pay up.

I'm personally pro-marijuana but anti-tobacco. Tobacco is worse and more addictive, yet it's leagal, somebody explain this to me...please?

    • Our current gov wants everyone who is not a bible thumping brain dead redneck to be in jail for petty shit. So yes it should be legal. Now if we ould just sponsor a nascar team the pot loby would take off.

    • Could be just because I'm the child of two people who probably did the whole spectrum of drugs available in the 60's and up, but I see nothing wrong with marijuana. Sadly, the U.S. has spent so much on the "war on drugs" that legalizing weed would be...well...bad...

    • The government does not realize the possibilities of cashing in on selling marijuana with ridiculous taxes like cigarettes.

The government could make a killing and free up prison space for people who are actually committing violent crimes.

"I'm not interested in legalizing drugs,'' Obama said, adding that he prefers an approach that puts more emphasis on a public health approach to drugs and less emphasis on incarceration.

everyone is jumping on the sound-byte, the "I'm not interested in legalizing drugs," but they don't care to listen on to realize what he means is that the war will and should continue for drugs that actually cause public health concerns, not to mention a focus on rehabilitation rather than incarceration.
