McCain blames high oil on Obama

Psychedelic
Apparently the whole reason we're in this oil crisis is because of one man ! ! !

According to this add endorsed by Senator John McCain we have Barack Obama to blame for our energy crisis.

    • HA this is hilarious.
VOTE to destroying the melting alaskan permafrost land. VOTE to wait 6 years to get the oil which that land will die for, VOTE to have and use that oil for... 2 years maybe!
      yeah, vote for that!!

    • Oh my gosh really?! How crazy, I mean all of us liberals know that the high gas prices are to be blamed on President Bush. I mean of course he is also just one man, but the difference is that he sold his soul to the devil.

Please people, this is just politics as usual. I'm sure the course of Obama's campaign he'll probably blame McCain for high gas prices. I hate to break it to ya', but this really isn't news.

    • I think most informed people disagree with McCain on a majority of issues, and well the same can be said of Obama, but all politics aside, that was a great ad. I mean, exploiting the economic frustrations of voters, just brilliant. It totally down plays climate change.

    • I'm so tired of hearing about McCain's attack ad campaigns. I swear it's like he releases one every 15 minutes.. Hes gotta learn to stand on his own two feet instead of trying fruitlessly to attack at Obama's ankles. (Of course at his age, that might be asking a bit much)

    • I hate watching this bullshit, I can't believe this is what they spend their fucking campaign money on. Can't a candidate put that money into good causes, charities, etc? I don't know what the legality is around that, but it would say a lot more to me as a voter than this scripted, exaggerated, million dollar dribble.

    • It's not about oil! It's about getting off oil! So far neither candidate has given a rational alternative to big oil. Nuclear and corn ethanol? Come on...

    • McCain is telling alcoholics he will fix to their drinking problem by starting up a winery. That stuff won't be good to drink for at least 5 years!

Maybe we should just stop drinking?

    • Even if we drill more in the US now, it won't effect prices until way after Obama or McCain serve a full two terms in office. We Can't refine the oil in that time even if we had it already drilled! Empty promises from McCain.

    • Good evening the ill informed and easily swayed.

Greetings from the oilpatch. I see it not one man is responsible but one party is responsible.

Barack may not make me obsolete but may make my job more secure.

Economics tells us more less supply higher price, and we know he wants to stop supply. . . just like the rest of the dems. If the u.s. does not use it others will.

God bless lesser of two evils, mcain?
      God bless big oil
How are those windmills on top of your roof voyager? or are you still burining fossil fuels?

Ignoring the fact the if the US is a world leader and what they do others will follow, no US oil consumption would cut oil consumption by 27%. We use FAR more than "others".

And I see it as the other party is responsible for us not on the path to avoid oil all together. Why worry about the price of oil when you can ignore it?

Drilling at home will give us no results at the pump for decades anyways. Assuming the scientists aren't right and climate change isn't causing hell by then.

    • What a JOKE!

mcInsane is right. What a desperate loser. And the real joke is that he can convince himself that in someway he's right. Too many drugs. Hitler was just like that. Totally out of touch with reality.

    • We all know it is Bush and Co to blame for oil prices already, it is pretty obvious to any idioit which puts McVain where. This man is senile and that's bad enough but now Obama Rama is to blame for everthing that is wrong in America and he is not even in power yet. McVain needs to realize he much to old and senile for the job. Because he spent time as a war captive does not make him presidential material, you also need brains and an understanding of what you are talking about which requires a memory and a brain. Neither of which he has displayed as having.
