    • This is unbelievable footage. I got so nervous just looking at you in the small tunnel. What if something happens....? It's so dangerous. Stay safe, my friend.
I always love your work. Great report!

    • This is one of the most amazing pieces I've seen on this site, and I will be very upset if Current misses this. As an illustration of life in Palestine, of the lengths that Palestinians must go to in order to survive, this film provides rare insight. No matter where you stand on the issue, this piece broadens your perspective.

I was surprised you didn't address the cave-in issue, and I'm sorry to hear that it has happened since. You must have known about the dangers and not told us. Props for taking a risk in the name of public education.

Fifteen Palestinians suffocated and a sixteenth is missing after the collapse of a tunnel in the Al– Barazil area of Rafah near the border with Egypt in the Gaza Strip Friday evening.

Dr Mu'awiyah Hassanein, director general of ambulance and emergency services ifor the de facto ministry of health in the Gaza Strip told Ma'an that 15 residents were suffocated and moved to Abu Yousif An-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.

Dr Hassanein said that the fate of the missing person inside the tunnel is not known.

    • i really hope this gets on current tv. it's about time people realized that war goes beyond the posturing of hte talking heads on tv and radio or the proclamations of a few - it affects real people with very real needs and they will go to any lengths to provide themselves with what they need to survive. this was superbly done.

    • The human intuition used to aleviate human suffering is incredible...I had no idea this sort of thing is going on...

journalist_pal, I'm wishing you continued success in your efforts to expose the trials and tribulations of those who are disparaged while enduring the carnage of war...in our journey into the future, there is a lot that we need to change, one step at a time...

      Peace to you all...

    • Thanks journalist_pal......great video.....for a claustrophobic person like myself....it is hard to imagine the people that stay in these tunnels.....videos like this will help people to see all the comforts Americans take for granted daily..and the dangers people place themselves in just to exist.....I appreciate what you are doing.....be careful and keep hammering away......you will be in my thoughts along with all the others that have to endure hardships.......it was never meant to be this way........Golden Ruler........Johnnie Hargrave....

    • fascinating stuff! Very resourceful. It's a shame when so many normal people trying to get by day by day get caught up in these relentless power struggles.
