Rottweiler fights other dog to save boy's life

The pit bull mauled Tshepang Taeli as he was walking with his grandmother in Oakdene, south of Johannesburg.
Even though residents came to the boy's rescue and tried to kick and beat the dog, it would not let go of the child and dragged it down the road. One of the neighbours, Ricky Veludo, came to help and then went to fetch his dog, Blade: "He fought the other dog to free the child."
The boy was then rushed to hospital where he is recovering from bites to his face, legs and stomach. "I have never felt so much pain in my life. The dog was attacking him and I was trying to release him and I could not," the boy's grandmother stated.

The propper way to deal with any attacking dog is to punch it square in the face. Hard. If you're afraid of them, they'll sense it and you wont be able to do a damn thing. Also, cats do suck, they live for themselves and really wouldnt give a f*ck if you died, dogs are the sh*t (the non-bitey ones anyways)

this is why dogs are great. a cat woulda came over and pissed on the boy or helped to eat him. dogs rule / cats suck.

i had a pitbull when i was a kid. they can really be great dogs. their aggression is far to prevelant...... yeah, the female pitbull we had, well we had to put her down after she almost killed 3 other dogs.

That was good thinking of the neighbor, using his dog as a shield to protect the boy. This is why it is important for people to realize that they need to walk with a stick in their neighborhoods. There are too many street dogs.
