In the movie, "Trust the Man", he was addicted to sex as well. Is he intentionally getting these roles?

I am a sex addict... It is hard work.

No one from his camp has come out to say if it was an addiction with her or an outside addiction...lol. I suspect maybe an outside one. His wife is really beautiful...but this story is embarassing for him and his family.

Sounds to me like a clever way to promote the new season of 'Californication.'

Wow isn’t this ironic. The news website owned by former vice president Al Gore and populated primarily by left leaning individuals is wasting their time by paying attention to the perceived sexual deviancy of some random dude. Isn’t this sort of thing supposed to be a republican hot topic? Or is it ok to shower a personal life with undue attention so long as you don’t offer him a bible?

I can't believe that this stupid story is #1 as I write this.

I don't agree that he is a lucky man. Sex addiction is about more than just enjoying sex. It inhibits your ability to live your life and is out of your control. You may or may not agree, but at least respect that it was obviously enough of a problem for him to seek help despite the inevitable critism he will face.

Oh please. I think sex addiction is just an excuse for cheating on your spouse, and not a good one at that.

How do they treat this in rehab? Do they put a woman spread eagle in front of you and tell you to stay still?

This isn't news. This is a publicity hungry star's cry for more attention, which lots of silly folk dutifully responded to. Why give the guy any attention? If he's got a problem that he's working on he might as well get on with it in peace.

I guess this means his next project will be "The XXX Files."

I don't get it...He has a hot wife...and why are there rehab centers for sex addicts in the first place? What do they do there? Have people wear underwear with keylock so they don't succumb to their sexual fantasies?...Thats crazy...Convert those places into schools or hospitals...

Who gives a rats ass. We're all adicted to one thing or another. For example I have a breathing addiction and every time I try to stop eating I find myself craving food.

Maybe...but it doesn't say he is in rehab because he cheated. It just says he's addicted to sex. Maybe he can't stop watching porn?

Rehab, hah! Another example of how people will make money any way they can. This isn't a problem. The only way for Mulder to get better is to keep...doing what he's doing.

I am really surprised by this, to be honest, as I always thought he was one of the 'decent' guys in Hollywood, but I guess that was an illusion! I feel sorry for his family, but other than that, who cares?
