The election of 2000 stolen! I hear that too much. I too wish Gore had won. But stolen? There are a lot of conservatives in this country who vote. We got beat. Our base has a track record for not voting like we should. We also get our panties in a bunch too much when things don't go our way. Gore's campaign was mishandled, Bush should have never been that close, especially when Clinton was coming of eight years in the white house. Gore was too stiff, he didn't find his groove until after the election, he finally loosened up a bit. He lacked Obama's swagger. Should it have mattered? No, but America likes swagger. Gore should have run this year. He would have been the best candidate. I was pissed when he didn't run? Why? Answer me Al? Lol

How different the world would have been if the election of 2000 hadn't been stollen. It is so sad, but so profound don't let them get away with it a third time.

I already responded regarding his speech in this thread. And my name is Jan FYI. Question is, where's your comment on it?

Al Gore's speech was incredible. His ideas are pertinent and informative. "I believe in recycling, but that's ridiculous", you can't beat that sort of commentary. Obama is taking Gore's environmental issue and seriously listening to them. Finally, someone that is serious about our environment.

Al is right on the money once again. The response of the people at this convention shows that Americans want to get back to the type of government that assures their voices will be heard, the give and take that was always meant to be, that assured by our founding fathers, now in a world facing many crucial environmental, social and financial shortfalls.
