    • There are plenty of ways on how to show to the whole world about the tragics that Hurricane Katrina do....

But for the informations of all... we must also understood that the tragedies and the different ways on how people accept the truth that there are plenty of scams, forgeries and thefts happened in the fund.

For sure, you must also understood that many people did not even realized the goodness of the Government and those Private Sectors who help the community grow.

Funding is also seeking for funds and helping is also helping our own selves to grow from within.

It's sad that there were scams and forgeries, making an already terrible tragedy even worse. But it is also true that things like this also bring out the goodness in people, like you said.

    • Thanks for posting this. We watched it and had the reality of Katrina hit us all over again. I work with homeless in our town yet they never have to contend with 1/100th of what these folks have faced.

In Thom Hartmann's book," Screwed " he contrasts the difference in how Hurricane Charlie, 2004, right before the election. was handled so differently for Florida, than Hurricane Katrina in a post election year. The folks of the 9th ward in New Orleans have paid a heavy price and are still paying. It is sickening that politics play a part in the destruction of so many lives. It is our national disgrace.

Hurray for Danny Glover and all those who will not let us forget what has happened.
