Only on South Park could a dead panda cartoon make me laugh. . .
I apologize to anyone who has not seen this episode (Russia) but it is kind of clever, and really funny! I think the title is Canada Goes On Strike

Well perhaps Sarah Palin would be more at home in Russia where censorship is not only law, it is a time honored tradition. They have plenty of bears to shoot, they ban books (and cartoons), they have a sub zero avg temperature and they impose their morals not only on the populous, but the media as well.

Sounds like a conspiracy from Russian Scientologists to get back at South Park for exposing their beliefs and mocking Tom Cruise.

buahaha!!! South Park is plain straight forward and still in it's way it's "Respectful" They just address things some people just don't want to hear about.
Russia has a lot more to "Ban" before ever touching SP.

I think it was the "Smug Alert" episode that really won me over to "South Park". I can look past the outrageousness of the show and see the pointed observations being put across by it's writers.

I do think the show has gotten really ridiculous as time goes on, but why ban it??? It still has potential even if Spears is walkin around with half a head.

With the show being so radical, people are forced to think, take sides and make choices. We need more of this in society.

Well, I can't wait to see what completely inappropriate, and hysterical, episode will come from this.
I'm from the little mountain town that 'South Park' is based on, I attended to the same schools as the creators Matt Stone & Trey Parker. Some of the characters are based on real people here, like teachers and the bus driver. Some episodes aren't too far from the truth either, it's funny.
I can't believe South Park was called "extremist" I Kind of take that personally. I guess 'Team America' is banned too then?

hmmm....I remember when Bevis and Butthead were banned from tv in parts of Arkansas. I don't recall details, maybe even M-TV was part of that ban.
Didn't I recently read where the new VP choice on the Republican side, had banned some books in the library. Forgive me if I am wrong.
I may google and be back with that source....sigh~
