Did Gibson ask all that needed to be asked?

In her third and final exclusive interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson, Palin discussed a range of domestic issues and defended herself against allegations that she flip-flopped on a controversial and costly infrastructure project and fired a state official who refused to sack her former brother-in-law.
Touting her experience as a reformer who shares running mate Sen. John McCain's, R-Ariz., passion for cutting taxes and slashing Congressional pork, Palin also drew contrasts between herself and the Arizona senator on issues like stem cell research and abortion.
Palin took a harder line than McCain on those social issues, but called her sentiments "personal opinion[s]" that could potentially differ from official policy in a McCain White House.
McCain supports abortion in instances of rape or incest, but Palin, a mother of a 5-month-old infant with Down syndrome, said she would advocate abortion only if a mother's life was in danger.

Quick response? No. But, realistically speaking, no journalist would have enough time to.

Albert - To answer your question why I Am more comfortablewithBarack's experience is that he has shown an interest and infinite knowledge on world affairs. He will surround himself with experts and has the good judgement and is thoughtful to make good decisions.
Palin is an extremist. She parrots what she is told. She has lied over and over. Her answers to world affairs are very hawkish like John Mc Cain. We already do not enough troops to hunt down Bin Laden in Pakistan or Afghanistan. She or Mc Cain will get us in more wars. She honest to God scares me. I do not believe that she has tolerance for other religious beliefs and may see all Muslins as a threat.
Would you vote for her in a presidential election? How do you think she would do in a presidential debate? Considering Mc Cain's health, age she will be closer to becoming president more than any other vp. I am very comfortable with Biden.

I rspect the fact that everyone has the right to agree or disagree about anything but I believe you and all of us are intellegent enough to make our own dicisons based on the answers===we are not stupid. A journalist or talk show such as the view doing a interview should never be showing their one sided close minded badgering to impose their feelings through the attitude they show in their condesending word pitch, looking down the glasses. Body langage and voice levels are uncalled for. They were doing the interview to rip not give us information to make our own decisions. I'm independant not a party member and it's not because she's a woman (she's in with the big boys so she has to expect tough). I watched the view do Obama interviews and never did they act so completely unproffessional, rude, crude, disgusting.

HOW MUCH OF THIS WAS PART OF THE INTERVIEW ?
WAKE UP AMERICA !
YOU ARE BEING LAUGH AT & TOO MEDIA ZOMBIFIED TO EVEN REALIZE MOST OF IT GOING ON !!!!
" The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media." ~ William Colby, former CIA director
" The corporate grip on opinion in the United States is one of the wonders of the Western world. No First World country has ever managed to eliminate so entirely from its media all objectivity - much less dissent.": Gore Vidal
"I wouldn't call it fascism exactly, but a political system nominally controlled by an irresponsible, dumbed down electorate who are manipulated by dishonest, cynical, controlled mass media that dispense the propaganda of a corrupt political establishment can hardly be described as democracy either." -- Edward Zehr - (1936-2001) Columnist
"This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box. There is a great and perhaps decisive battle to be fought against ignorance, intolerance and indifference." -- Edward R. Murrow, 1958

In a previous interview a couple years ago she asserted: 'I'm no Al Gore doom- and-gloom environmentalist'... human activity is not the cause of climate change...'I'm no Al Gore'... no sh**. You, Ms. Palin, could never come close to his vision, passion, and experience on the environment, so at least on that I can agree. I sure hope however, that you deign to at least read one peer reviewed scientific report (and that wouldn't be the Bible) in order to understand that simply towing the ideological line of your neanderthal party is not serving this Earth well.
Her flip flop on this regarding human induced climate change in this interview was obviously scripted to conform with McCain, (because let's face it, the "natural" cause spiel is the minority opinion as the evidence to the contrary continues to be seen) especially considering she did not change her view on wanting to drill. However, I can agree on one thing: regardless of what you believe is causing climate change we must do something about it, but it doesn't mean drilling for the very crap causing it.
Her state is melting away while she gives bogus interviews to the MSM, just like Obama did with Bill O'Reilly who now likes him more because he isn't a woman it seems and gave them the red meat regarding attacking Pakistan that they wanted... what is it with these politicians on both sides bending over backwards to have Republicans kiss their a^^?
But to be fair, both she and Obama and Biden have also touted "clean coal" along with McCain, so I agree that she and McCain should not be elected... I'm actually thinking of voting third party this time because in my state I am pretty sure McCain won't win it and the electors pick the president anyway along with the MSM, and the corporations, and the elitists, and AIPAC. To think we really do is to me naive.
Just because she is McCain's pick and I totally and vehemently disagree with her views (if they are 'her' views) does not mean I am then going to run to vote for the other moneyed party either that actually talks of continuing this war in Afghanistan and Pakistan and potentially starting war with Russia as well (which Biden did do in his acceptance speech at the DNC) and also talks of Israel's need to defend herself so keeping Iran from getting nuclear power is essential with 'all' options on the table, while neither of them really publicly supports Al Gore's 10 year challenge and is not doing anything now but swacking back and forth at each other in the mud. There is absolutely no way anyone can now tell me Obama is not a dirty politician as well. His recent ad on McCain was that he is computer illiterate. How is that an issue? How is his going on Letterman to talk about pigs and lipstick thus perpetuating and getting sucked into their BS doing us any favors either?
There is no doubt after watching her pre arranged interview with pre arranged questions to try to make her look as though she understands foreign policy when all she really knows is that you can see Russia from Alaska (probably much better now that it is melting away) that she is a fake, but then, they are all playing the same game. And actually, Democrats are now shooting themselves in the foot by giving Palin so much attention and press. They talk about her more than Biden! What does that show? Where are the issues?
I am voting ( if I do) based on issues, and when doing that, I don't think of voting for any party that cares more for campaign donations and one upping each other with Bs ads and talk show appearances over actually telling me when and HOW I will have affordable quality healthcare and affordable college for my child, and pay parity, and real jobs, and a sustainable planet with 100% renewable energy in 10 years... especially when all they all talk about is WAR.

The million dollar question was never asked-
Mrs. palin can you look in the camera and say
that there is no more deserving conservative candidate with more experience, intelligence, VP qualifications and a resume than yourself? The whole world knows this answer!
Vanity over substance!
Another question- Ask her about all the factheck.org
statements coming out about her, MCcain and his camp blatantly lyinh, then give her the litany of lies!Time for Palan to hide away again- no more interviews! Stick her in the closet until its time to attack again!

I watched Gibson on the Palin interview and The view women with McCain and his wife Cindy. Barbara and Whoope I really did adore until I saw how unprofessional they were. Joy I expected to be rude but not these others. Being confronted with hard questions comes with the territoy of politics but in all the interviews I've watched I never saw them play slasher on any one like they did against Palin and McCain. A woman can handle the hard questions. I highly respected these people but I never would have believed the lack of class, professional bias, out right rude and crude they were in their interviews done by the women of the view and Gibson. It's on thing to ask tough questions but their voice levels, body gestures, badgering was uncalled for. They were on attack not doing an interview. The editing done to only give a part of her answer and the way they twisted her past words---unbelievable.
The women of the view called Obama such a gentleman---I don't need someone to pull out my chair I want someone in office the has guts to speak out for our country. Iran, China ect ect ect would over run someone whisy-washy. Their is real threats. - 3 years ago

You are absolutely correct in your assessment. She did an excellent job, I find it amazing how she sticks to the point... literally like a focused bulldog respectfully. But it is clear she will do fine in the debates... It is funny when think of watching GW in debates ...one was always worried what he might say or how... with palin i would let her answer any question. her core values truly are directly wires to her speaking skills w/o a stutter..

I for one want a President that can handle tough questioning. I thought the ladies of the view were respectful, I thought McCain (John) waffled back and forth when he answered the questions. The ladies of the View wanted hard answers and pushed to get them. It would have been nice if people would have done this with GWB prior to him desiding to invade Iraq.
As far as the way the ladies handled Cindy, I found that portion of the interview to be very respectful. There was no pressure, they took her responses and moved along. Cindy isn't running for President, John IS and as such should be ready for an inquisition from the people of this country, prior to making any decision on our behalf.
As far as the Palin interview you had just the opposite it was the interviewer who waffled and the interviewee who stayed right on point. Almost as if she was reading a script!?!?!? - 3 years ago
