The republican strategists do deserve a reward for this one. We have been overwhelmed by their portrayal of her: she is strong and weak, the antagonist and the victim, the bully and the snot nosed kid. Odds of McCain kicking the bucket in the next eight years are pretty strong. I should hope this poor choice of vice will scare people into the reality that this women could become our cheif very soon. Left or right, I think her as a vp nomination is an insult to women everywhere. To think that she diserves our vote just for being a women, when there are experinanced men and women out there who are light years ahead Palin that where over looked for the VP slot is insane. A true feminists should know better than to for for such a trick.

In addition to the "left-wing feminists", it seems that Alaskan Republican women have come unhinged about Palin being McCain's VP pick....the Republican women protesting say that McCain just lost their vote!! 1,500 people turned out to see Palin and 1,600 women turned out to protest her! Interesting numbers huh? Given that the FBI released stats that show that under her watch Alaska now has the highest rape cases per capita/year and the 2nd highest murders against women by men, it seems that they Rebublican and Democrat WOMEN alike have good reason to protest!
