Genetically engineered Merck Cancer Vaccine made mandatory for immigrants to US

Immigrants seeking permanent legal residency in the U.S. are now mandated to take an expensive and controversial vaccine that has been linked with thousands of serious complaints and several deaths.

The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine — known as Gardasil — is one of five the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services recently added to the required list, reports Fox 8 News.

A press release from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Agency confirms that the requirements for the vaccine went into effect on July 1, 2008.

The regulation represents a total dismissal of the recommendation of Dr. Jon Abramson, chairman of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s advisory committee on immunization practices. In February 2007, Abramson said that he and the 15-member panel at the CDC opposed making Gardasil mandatory because the sexually transmitted HPV is not a contagious disease like measles or chicken pox.

At $162 per dose, the three-dose vaccine is set to make millions in profits for Gardasil manufacturer Merck, a company that has a history of both lobbying intensely for state mandates and entering into crony deals to hoodwink Americans into believing HPV vaccinations are compulsory.

Merck were unable to sell the “benefits” of the vaccine to make enough profit out of it, so instead they turned to state legislature and attempted to pay off Governors and other officials to curry favor and force eleven year old girls (and in other states children as young as eight) who aren’t even sexually active to take the shot.

However, the pharmaceutical giant agreed to stop lobbying state legislatures to make it mandatory for schoolgirls to be inoculated with Gardasil after a fierce backlash from concerned parents and religious organizations.

We previously exposed Merck’s role one such crony deal with Texas Governor Rick Perry which saw a resulting media campaign fool parents into thinking that the HPV vaccine had been made compulsory by law for all young girls.

Without consulting and doctors, scientists or medical experts, Perry, who has various close ties to Merck, issued an executive order requiring girls to be vaccinated against HPV. Several Texas lawmakers subsequently petitioned for a reversal of the decision without success.

Almost immediately following Perry’s announcement, newspapers and TV stations began to report that it was “the law” that parents had to have their child vaccinated. This reflects a national and international hoax that is repeatedly being perpetrated shortly before school terms begin each year.

There is no law in America, aside from those applying to medical workers, that says any citizen or their children have to take any vaccine whatsoever, no matter what any executive order, requirement, mandate or policy dictates.

As in the case of all other vaccines, Perry’s executive order merely stated that the vaccine is “recommended,” yet the mass media drumbeat constantly conditions people to believe that if they don’t take their shots they will be kicked out of school, arrested and thrown in jail.

Last November we reported on a case in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where parents of more than 1600 children were told they could be put in jail for failing to get their kids vaccinated. At the time a local Fox News affiliate reported, “A new law was passed last year requiring children from 5th through to 10th grade to have the vaccine,” which was a total lie.

The non-complying parents were not charged not under vaccination laws (because there aren’t any) but under truancy, neglect or child in need of supervision laws, which state that the parent is culpable after 30 days of a child’s unexplained absence from school.

The school itself triggered the truancy violation by unfairly kicking the kids out of school, and failing to inform parents about vaccine waiver forms. A state prosecutor involved in the case then admitted that there is no law that mandates any vaccine.

    • ice monster you were tricked into thinking that the vaccine was necessary. Just because it didn't kill you does not make it ok for Doctors to play such games. It's not fair we trust out doctors and this is the bullshit they want to pull on us.

      Go do your own (unbiased) research.The facts are there.
      You obtained biased info from your own doctor.
      Current users have nothing to gain from giving you the shot, but the FDA makes money on people like you.

      P.S. title says The vaccine is MANDATORY for immigrants.
      Mandatory means no choice FYI. So your suggestion to let them decide is a no go.

      Rachelmaechel, I don't think you understand the fact that I CHOSE to get this shot seeing as how my fucking mother died from cervical cancer. Therefore, to me it seemed and felt like a safe decision. Whether you think it's safe or not is your own fucking opinion. Wanna know the best part? Before she died she too worked for Merck for over 25 years. Go ahead and talk about how corrupt they are but to me, they aren't because they're the company supporting me through college and everything since she passed away.

      I think you should probably back off on being a bitch and realize my reply was more or less my thoughts on this article, not a demand of what our country should be doing.

      No fucking shit, the immigrants are sadly forced to take this now but hey, that's life.

    • Wow, I think half of these responses are over the top. My sisters and I received these vaccinations right when they came out and I haven't died yet nor has my health declined or any radical thing like that. Let the immigrants decided if they need it or not, but honesty you know how many of them are coming with other contagious diseases and more harmful things than this? I agree with the fact that they shouldn't have to pay for this but to call them lab rats? Ridiculous. It's not as if this is some late breaking vaccine, it's been out for about 3 or 4 years now. I'm voting this down because it's too biased.

    • The sad thing is, not many people know how HPV and cervical caner works. I almost got into an argument with someone because they believed that they are helping to "protect" themselves against cervical cancer.

      Gardasil is a very dangerous drug. If you actually researched about cervical cancer, you would understand that you DON'T NEED THE SHOT. HPV is a virus that has been found to be a link to cervical cancer. The thing is, there are many strands and some are already in the body. Majority of women have HPV in their body and do not know it. Your body naturally fights off the virus. And if the virus gets out of control, then there will be an infection. And usually, if you have an infection, you can tell because the fluids change to a different color. So, the only way you could possibly get cervical cancer is if you let the infection progress without treating it for months!

      Not only that, but Gardasil only fights against 4 OF THE KNOWN 11 strands. Here is one person's account of her regretting the shot.

    • I don't understand why they'd require a vaccine for immigrants which most Americans don't have...or can't afford. Sounds like another deterrent for immigrants wishing to improve their situation.

      Gardasil is the one introduced into the UK and is now being used en masse to help almost irradicate a terible disease. Girls need to be vaccinated before they are sexually active because HPV is common and by the time they are 16 approx 10% of girls (in the UK) were shown to already have been infected with HPV, so it is too late to start once they are sexually active.

      The vaccine has gone through rigorous trials and licensing regulations so the stories about thousands of complaints and deaths will be unsubstantiated.

      This is not the kind of drug that just slips through the net and onto the market. We really need to get over this anti-vaccination tip, its just bad for our health.

      Just because you are carrying the virus does not mean you will die or even feel sick. But the drug company wants us to be afraid like you are.

      The truth is that HPV can come and go without the female even knowing about it. Treatment is only necessary if you have a medical family history of cancer or other feminine diseases....

      It's like telling the US that if you get a Mosquito Bite it will give you bird flu- it's rare

      OK, first off I must assume you are joking about bird flu and insect bites, clearly there is no relationship whatsoever.

      A necessary factor in cervical cancer is the presence of the HPV virus, and this vacccine prevents against the HPV viruses that cause 70% of all Cervical cancer.

      You are right that many women will have HPV without being aware of it, but HPV infections are extremely common so even if only a small proportion go on to develop cancer, this equates to a large number of women developing a cancer which is preventable.

      Obviously its not possible to predict which women will develop cancer and which will have asymptomatic/mild infection. Therefore it is necessary to prevent as many HPV infections as possible through widespread vaccination of girls before they are sexually active.

      You are mistaken in thinking my views are based in fear, rather they come from a desire for knowledge of the real risk of disease versus any risks associated with available interventions. In the case of the HPV vaccine there is plenty of evidence available from independent, rigorous research that demonstrates both the link between HPV infection and cervical cancer as well as the protective benefit of the vaccine against HPV.

      It is good to engage in critical questioning of these issues that affect our health and wellbeing, but it is dangerous to let ourselves be blinded by paranoia and fear of the unknown.

    • To me, this looks like Nazi human experimentation all over again. It is unethical in so many ways, I can't even begin to describe. My sympathy goes out to the people unaware of the facts and to the victims of such inhumane behaviors. If you want to grant people permanent legal residency in the States, blackmailing is not how to go about doing it.

    • too many bad rxn's to this drug, so they have to test it on immigrants. Is that to scare them off or just kill them off? There is no way on gods green earth I will let my daughter get this vaccine. As long as you have a yearly exam for the most part HPV is treatable with a shot of lidocaine, a laser and some lugol solution. The biggest problem I see is lack of sex ed, especially amongst latino populations. They don't discuss those things, it is not culturally appropriate (so they tell me). More times than I can count I have answered questions on health issues,( the advantage of being a science teacher) because those 14, 15 year olds didn't have a clue. What the vaccine makers don't realize is its not HPV that is so huge a problem, it is Chlymadia, since it is more silent in its symptoms.

    • Vaccines-societies so called safety blanket against illness-should be voluntary. There is too much implicating evidence that has been kept hidden for far too long that shows vaccinations of any kind are inherently- in & of themselves-dangerous to safely be administered. Let’s start with the controversial & continued use of mercury-one of the unhealthiest elements ever discovered. Just take a look at Autism as an example. It’s about time our gov’t agencies & corporations like these are held accountable for their profitable actions & results on their customers. Our current gov’t & economic breakdown has resulted from selfish & greedy leaders completely out of touch with reality-except for the criminal part at the expense of hard working Americans.

      Vaccines & other supposed beneficial procedures are considered low risk & get lost in a complicated gov’t & health care agenda, so tradition continues the insanity of how vaccines are administered, while the Health & Big Pharma industries are put in the back pockets, by lobbyists & special interest groups, of the very same politicians elected & charged with overseeing these matters. However, the eyes of a concerned public’s growing awareness of environmental toxicity & potential health problems have been opened. Today everyone needs to be their own health care advocate in order to stay healthy, get cured or make positive lifestyle changes.

      Yea the fact remains, but a fact is not biased. It dosent form an opinion it presents itself and let the reader decide.
      This is an example of why our media is continually criticized as being biased left wing/right wing or whatever.
      I see the point and i agree with the issue but i don't agree with its presentation. I voted down and i stand by my vote and think that rather than silently decenting, its more productive to let goldenways know why i voted down.

      Until this is drilled home with parents we will also keep seeing relatively unchallenged moves to pass legislation to make mandatory all vaccines recommended by the CDC for all children, including infants and toddlers.

      As we have previously seen with other controversial schemes such as Real ID, immigrant populations provide a prime testing ground to quietly introduce policies that may later be subject to efforts to make them mandatory for all American citizens.

      So what is actually in the HPV vaccine?

      Live genetically engineered cancer virus. As the vaccine spreads in use, reports of horrible side effects are already starting to proliferate.

      “Negative side effects of Gardasil, a new Merck vaccine to prevent the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer, are being reported in the District of Columbia and 20 states, including Virginia. The reactions range from loss of consciousness to seizures,” reported the Washington Times.

      “Young girls are experiencing severe headaches, dizziness, temporary loss of vision and some girls have lost consciousness during what appear to be seizures,” said Vicky Debold, health policy analyst for the National Vaccine Information Center, a nonprofit watchdog organization that was created in the early 1980s to prevent vaccine injuries.”

      The report quotes physicians who debunk the claim that the HPV vaccine even prevents cervical cancer, as is claimed by Merck and the FDA.

      “There is no proof Gardasil will stop cervical cancer,” said Clayton Young, an obstetrician/gynecologist in Texas, “They haven’t been studying it long enough to make that claim.”

      Non-profit, public interest group Judicial Watch, released a report at the end of June this year which revealed that there had been 9,749 adverse reactions and 21 reported deaths related to Gardasil in the last two years.

      According to the report, there have been 78 severe outbreaks of genital warts, six cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome and at least 10 miscarriages reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) since the approval of Gardasil. However, a study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that clinicians, patients and drug companies report only about 10 percent of side effects to VAERS, so the actual number of Gardasil side effects could be much higher.

      The CDC subsequently released a statement on July 22 which stated “Based on ongoing assessments of vaccine safety information, the FDA and CDC continue to find that Gardasil is a safe and effective vaccine… The benefits continue to outweigh the risks.”

      Merck also issued a statement in response to the data, saying it “believes that no safety issue related to the vaccine has been identified. These types of events are events that could also be seen in the general population, even in the absence of vaccination.”

      The CDC plans to release a study in October that it says will help determine whether a true linkage between Gardasil and the reported adverse reactions exists.

      The U.S. distributed 2.2 million doses of the vaccine in 2006 and 11.3 million in 2007.
