Dr.Tariq Amin-Khan talks about the consequences of increased US military activity in Pakistan.

The conflict in Pakistan getting more violent and complex. The US blames Pakistan for not doing enough in fighting for its ‘war on terror,’ while Pakistan is blaming the US for initiating unilateral military operations within its border. And the recent spate of violence is adding fire to the fuel. The Real News Network spoke with Dr. Tariq Amin-Khan who is a Professor of Politics at Ryerson University.

Tariq Amin-Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University. In addition to a PhD in Social and Political Thought from York University in Toronto, he holds a Master’s degree in South Asian Studies from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Karachi in Pakistan. The title of his doctoral thesis is Theorizing the Post-Colonial State in the Era of Capitalist Globalism.
