Did Palin Make a Difference for McCain?

unitedliberty
Did Palin come through for McCain? In other words, was her folksy speaking style and “straight talk” answers enough to win over voters for her running mate? If the people in Luntz’s focus group are indicative of American voters, than Sarah may have hit a stand-up triple.

    • How is refusing to answer questions - "straight talk"?

What's "folksy" about chronic lying, spin and memorized sound bites?

As George Will said of Senator McCain the candidate is "unpresidential." Popularity contests belong in high school. Not high office.

Can anyone imagine the rest of the planet's leaders sizing up the McCain\Palin ticket based on a parade of lies and winks?

    • Sarah Palin's VP debate energized her base. But, undecided voters were largely unaffected. The percentage of voters who have now chosen a candidate are; Biden (18%), and Palin (10%). Poll numbers today (10/3) show no bounce, probably because the economic crisis is still at the forefront of people's concerns.

    • It's Pox News - most of these people were paid shills, and the others have no idea what constitutes a debate and how it is won. Only idiots will vote for someone who resembles them.
