Negative energy can be disastrous to a person’s life

Image

Negative energy can be disastrous to a person’s life. It can cause general bad luck, health problems, etc. Often when a person thinks that they are cursed or hexed, the real problem is negativity.

Some Things that generate or can cause Negative Energy

Your own Negative Thoughts and words

Pessimism can be very damaging to a person’s life. On a physical level, constant pessimism can lead to low self esteem and negative subconscious programming. If you are constantly looking at things in a negative way, you could develop a self defeating "I can't" type of personality.

Pessimism can also be damaging on a spiritual level. Thoughts are more powerful than most people realize. This is because thoughts generate energy.

Enough concentrated negative thought can cause negative things to happen. That is why it is so important to be optimistic. If it looks as if something negative is going to happen, instead of dwelling on it, take measures to prevent it.

Negative Thoughts of others
An unbalanced person that constantly thinks negative thoughts about you or wishes you ill can cause you problems. This is especially a problem with jealous people. I have had these problems myself with certain relatives. I noticed that every time I got around certain members of my family, I would feel bad, and often become ill.

At first I thought it was just my imagination, so I started keeping a journal and noticed the same things consistently happening everytime I got around certain people. These people by their words always had something negative to say to me. They would constantly criticize me or tell me why I could not do a particular thing I had planned to do etc. Anything that good that happened to me, they would belittle or almost seem to get angry over it.

Discontinuing contact with these people solved my problems, so you may want to consider this if the problem is bad enough. If this isn’t an option, try carrying a piece of hematite to absorb the negativity when ever you must be around these people or speak to them. Be sure to clean it periodically to remove any negativity it may have absorbed

Also keep in mind that YOUR negative thoughts towards others will be returned to you, same as anything else you do.

    • I posted this article, and didn't expect to be sick a few days. I wanted to let people read and think about it, before I colored it with any of my thoughts. As my thoughts are a bit different from that of the person who wrote the article.
I planned to post a few hours after the article had been live. Oh well. Illness happens.

If anyone is interested in my thoughts on thought (sounds funny) I don't mind sharing, but I am not going to write something huge and long if no one is going to read it.....

On to what I want to say today.
      But also...
When I saw this article... I thought...

True, my own thoughts do influence every part of my day, on some level. I already knew this. But do I actively keep this knowledge in my head?

      No. I wish I did.
If my thoughts are are negative, then yeah stuff is going to suck. If thoughts are positive, same events may happen, but it is somehow less sucky. (smiles)

So... I figured I'd post this, not to be picked apart by a pack of wolves, but so you could take what you can use, and discard what you don't need.

      I hope it helps some.
We need to all protect our health, and that starts with our thoughts, and when we are typing at our keyboards, there are lots of thoughts flying thru our brains.

So are you sitting there getting mad at me because I said something? If you are? It is not worth it. Did I say something horrible to you? Then I probably got more bad than you did from the experience...
We don't have to agree. But my friends, you know they laugh their asses off at my (conservative) posts... but they still like me, even if they are the most liberal posting people you will meet (I laugh my ass off at their posts too)... But we have mutual respect for each other, and we don't go over the line, belittle each other or forget that we are both human.
There are others I don't know how to reach that ground with. Or if you ever get to the ground or is it just too much?

Now next time you are getting upset with someone... look here, see this paragraph, insert their name over mine and (describe the kind of post here). I hope it helps.

      Thanks for reading.

I thought it was a wonderful post. It reminded me how much work I have left to do both mentally and spiritually.
I believe your post touches on a secret to ascension - if an individual can achieve a level of consciousness whereby they constantly emit 'rays' of unconditional love then they have achieved enlightenment.

    • Positive consciousness breathes positive manifestation and some people mistake that return for luck.
I think it is sometimes necessary to reduce our interaction with negative people if the problems they cause us reach a certain subjective threshold. At that point we should look within and determine what aspect of our self we need to strengthen in order to attain the self-knowledge necessary to withstand said individual's negativity. Once our self-knowledge is increased sufficiently we have a duty to at least attempt to influence the negative individual in a positive manner. Every person has the potential to be happy and a source of light in this World.

    • there is no such thing as luck; all "luck" is equaled up to is timing plus oppertunity..

there is karma, high spirits, low spirits, ect..

good thoughts though, and bad thoughts, always effect your subcontious mind.

luck has little or nothing to do with karma or high/low spirits

this scientist did a study on luck and people who think they are lucky or not

people who thought they were lucky were more motivated they did more and got more in return

people who thought they were unlucky sat around all day and complained about how life isn't fair, and how unlucky they are, ect...

It's not about ridding those negative people of your life completely, it's about being translucent to the negative energy they try to impose on you. You will always have to deal with negative energy, it's a natural part of Being.

Which, ironically, is the very portrayal of the "Yang and the Yang" image you chose.

You should see the water scene in that movie, real negativity there was portrayed nicely.

most of that movie was true but they exaggerate and misrepresent quantum physicists/theorists

there was a lot of facts but there was a lot of lies as well
i'll have to watch it again and pick out what is true and what isn't so i can enplane more thoroughly if this topic arises again

but ramtha (male) channeled by j.z. knight (the blond lady)
is a 7000 year old enlightened war god who "knows" all this stuff about quantum physics and is the leader/teacher of ramtha's school of enlightenment
and the writer and director of that movie were students of his/hers

j.z. knight copyrighted the name ramtha, she charges thousands of dollars to attend the school of enlightenment, hundreds for weekend seminars, and
she sued an Australian woman for channeling ramtha

if i was channeling an enlightened god i would not charge a lot of money to help people become enlightened

so that is why this movie looks like a propaganda film made to advertise the expensive "enlightenment" school

I loved that movie~ Especially the blessed and cursed water.

I can see how that would leave a dirty taste in your mouth, if that woman was doing that. And did she contribute that much to the movie? I think the other person was doing most of the theory... but it has been a year since I have seen it.

In a few weeks, I just put drops of water up.... (smiles)

    • The opposite of harmony is dis-ease. When your thoughts are harmonious with love you get stronger when they are aligned with hate or fear your body goes weak and you invite dis-ease. Read a great book called power vs. force by David Hawkins

    • Leonidis:

that would make a lot of sense if you replace the word body with immune system

because there are a lot of people who were filled with love who cant life a dictionary

and a lot of people who hate everybody who can lift cars

      (exaggeration)

    • Leonidis:

Actually stress and negativity does lower the immune system, thus causing one to be more likely to become sick. This can be a cold, or it could be mono or something more serious.

For me stress actually does "hurt" because some of the neuromuscular diseases "flare" when I have been really upset, when something awful has happened, just when I need my body to be strong the most... I feel like I have bee stings every 3 inches or so on my back, arms and legs. I need a new body.

i am guilty of that and so are you...

and so are most of everybody else on this site

because people seem to have a hard time not getting pissed off when they disagree

if there is one thing that could make this world a utopia it would be if we could agree to disagree a lot more

if we could understand that people think and act differently and that it rarely affects them
then we could live in harmony and all that other hippie stuff

No I am not. I have my own problems, this is not one of them.

      I don't call people names.
      I don't call people trolls.
I don't get nearly as mad as some who are at me for my opinions.

Because I assure you if people who got mad here at me were surrounded by people that didn't think like them they would run. The only reason they stick around is because their opinion is mostly agreed with.

the only reason I stick around is because I'm not agreed with.

the moment too many start to agree...is the moment I very well will be bored.

      i might have misunderstood you

but this was what i was talking about i am glad you enjoy disagreeing but you don't need to be hostile about telling people so

i could have said what i said differently

      instead of agreeing to disagree
agree to be a little polite when explaining your disagreement

"I don't get nearly as mad as some who are at me for my opinions"

      but still you get mad

I'm am not saying it is really a problem as much as it is a nuisance

there isn't much somebody could do about it

The problem with you Jammer is that you hardly have anything pleasant to say. I value different points of views and opinions, I like a good argument. To always disagree for the sake of disagreeing though can get quite boring. Even in light hearted subjects, you can be a Debbie Downer, and as it pertains to this subject, it doesn't have to be that way. Its okay to simply have an opinion as you say. It's the constant negativity that needs to go. Your tone and choice of words has alot to do with it.
I've called someone a troll on here before, but that's what they were doing, being a troll. When you come on here, simpy to rile up people and be as negative as possible, you're going to get the reaction you deserve.

I used to be a very negative person. I grew up just a little bit angry, having to raise my two little brothers and always having to fight those that were suppose to love me. As soon as I simply decided that I wasn't going to be this angry person anymore, my life changed. That simply. I met my husband, I got rid of all my garbage friends and family, and simply smiled my way to happiness. It works.

You choose to read the bad post and ignore the good, which means your observation is one sided.

When it comes to anything to do with Palin on this site or Obama I'm not going to be pleasant because the ignorance on both is absurd that people who are so well informed can be so obtuse is unacceptable.

So if that's all you've read then surely I can see where you're coming from.

But if that's all you've read then you're not fully informed.

And if I were the way you state that I was to come here just to push buttons...I assure you it would be far worse than what I've done thus far. I know how to push buttons once I've read people's comments. But that's not what I'm doing, and will not do that. That's not either progressive or fun...really.

i think you are a neat person but a little impolite at times
but most of the time i'm a total asshole

my point was that people in general not just you or me are hostile when a disagreement arises
we seem threatened by views that is different or opposing from their own

Jammer, never said you push buttons. I said there are people on this site that do that. I simply you said you can be a Debbie Downer. I've seen you make comments that have nothing to do with the post. If I didn't think you made good points from time to time, I wouldn't bother paying attention to your comments. I didn't choose to simply read only your negative comments. How do I know it's going to be positive or negative until I read them? I read most comments before I make my own. You may very well be a pleasant person, but if 8 out of 10 comments you make tend to seem negative, then my point stands. A prime example of your negativity, is how even on a post that is talking about negativity, you could have simply left the second part out. ..."There's ample proof on this site alone." Was it so hard not to add that little zinger? This is how you come off to some people. I'm just saying. Not trying to be Negative Neghie, myself, but I'm calling you out baby.

i personally only believe in the spiritual aspects of crystal healing

so i agree with that statement

but people tend to take it a step further and say that certain crystals/stones will heal certain ailments

      like blood stone purifies blood

      that seems a bit ridiculous
rocks might effect emotions and how active you are but that would only mean crystal healing is more of a preventive measure as it keeps your emotions positive and thus keeping your body in homeostasis

Actually gems do have metaphysical properties. They are just not really very obvious. One can look them up easily on the net. I don't know if that is the same as the crystal thing. I am talking about citrine, diamonds, topaz, saphire, emerald, ruby, etc.

There were things the author of the article wrote that may have been true, but the way in which they were written made her seem out to lunch. Other things, well...

I picked the article for the meat and potatoes of it, not the pickle salad on the side.

    • "Negative energy" leads to feelings of stress. Stress releases hormones in our body that throw off the hemeostasis (normal balance) of our body. This in turn is what can lead to a number of illnesses including cancer.

That is why I am a firm believer in the application of massage therapy as preventative medicine. Less stress hormones will decrease your chances of getting sick.
