All eyes and ears are on the debate, but what about people hit hard by US crises at home and abroad?

Today a horde of journalists descends on Hempstead, NY, to cover the third and final presidential debate. But ANP left the pack to hear from people outside of the media spotlight, people hit hard by our nation's crises at home and abroad.

    • constant blinking is a sign of lieing.....
      anyways, not enough real people on the news... just pundits, "experts", and campaign managers... oh dont forget the politicians they are the fakest of all.

    • Johnnie, it's funny you said that about the blinking. My wife watched the debate for about 10 minutes before she mentioned how bad McCain was blinking. Twenty minutes later she was dizzy and sick, it was almost like a flashing light to her.

      It is unfortunate, I really feel that no-one in Washington understands "Main Street", or ever will. We are nothing more than facts and figures on a pie chart, to be thrown around in conversation at hearings and meetings. Once Wall Street starts bleeding it is a national disaster of the first order. We as a people can bleed to death on the street, we are replaceable, we are merely the means to an end. The end being greater wealth for those that use us.

    • ..Vierotchka...thank you..this video is very well done...it shows the reality of how things are becoming at a very rapid rate.....it shows how everything can change in the blink of an eye.....and for everyone that watched the debate last night and noticed John McCain blinking.....I am not saying that he can help it or what led to it...I am just saying..try it yourself for a minute...the whole world looks like an old silent movie....and you will become very irritated.....Golden Ruler...Johnnie Hargrave.....

    • I'm glad ANP is still focused in the right direction and doing it's job, 'the news'. This kind of reporting and topic has been increasingly rare lately.
