    • if we are going to use torture then we should do it in the most efficient way possible.Torture can get a person to answer to any wrong /right conclusion that is wanted from the tourturer. When you want information in a timly maner the best way to do torture is described in one of Tom Clancys novels, Stick a man or woman into a pressure chamber then depesurrize said chamber rapidly creating the bends. You can also do this pharmacudily with stychnine and cocain. Both methods eventualy end in termination of life but it wil be a fast way of getting info from changing brain chemistry

    • Since 2000 when GW was placed in office by court order we have not been a democracy or even a republic. Since that year we have been under fire from the rest of the world and we have desearved it. When a leader of a country supports the use of inhumain methods to extract information (which ultimatly proves ineffectual) It shows just how far the society we live in has become corupted.

    • I agree, I thought it was a very poor interview. But Naomi got a lot of people hearing her and maybe some new readers of her books. And some others got a seed planted.

    • I respect her. I bought Naomi Wolf's last book for mu mom. Neocon sycophants call her a kook just trying to make money off exploiting a phony American crisis.

      I love how the the interviewer tried to twist her words and misrepresent everything Ms. Wolf said; making this a left/right issue, paranoid conspiracy wacko, and generally not addressing any of the points she was bring up.
