What's the deal with Sarah Palin's medical records?

"One can make a case that none of them have been particularly forthcoming but Barack Obama, Joe Biden and John McCain have all released their medical records to the press. It does seem the public has a right to know the folks we're electing are in good health. But, hmmm...that only adds up to three.....we're missing someone here. Ah, that's right: what about Ms. Palin's medical report? Remember, Sarah Palin famously said "You know, when you're running for office, your life is an open book".

Mysteriously, the McCain camp has been adamant they don't intend to release Sarah Palins medical records. On September 24th, a campaign representative said:

"Governor Palin has no history of health problems," [McCain campaign spokesman Michael] Goldfarb says. "We believe that a candidate should be able to preserve some privacy in this process, and we're confident the American people will validate that judgment come election day."

Yesterday, in an interview with NBC News' Brian Williams, Ms. Palin said:

"The medical records, so be it. If that will allow some curiosity seekers perhaps to have one more thing that they either check the box off that they can find something to criticize or to rest them assured over. I'm healthy, happy, I've had five kids, that's going to be in the medical records. Never seriously ill or hurt, you'll see that in the medical records if they're released."

Did you catch the "if"? Today, the McCain camp put the kabosh on the Governor's medical records release:

“When medical information related to Governor Palin’s health is ready to be released we will make that information available.”

I think that's a "no". "

    • I think that in the case of any presidential or vp candidate, if they will not FULLY release their records then we are free to make any guesses we wish and let them prove otherwise if they wish to set the record straight. I am much more concerned with McCain's "release" of records designed to obfuscate rather than inform.Sarah has clearly demonstrated that her personal morality does not match her rhetoric already, what more can be demonstrated.

WHERE ARE SARAH PALINS MEDICAL RECORDS
Are the republicans playing for time hoping she will be elected, and we will forget, or she will lose and we won't need them. What are they hiding, how bad can it be?

      Or shall we just guess....

What would be so important to hide, So devastating it would end her career?
I know, an abortion, say she got pregnant, like her daughter, very young? say she had an abortion because she was a TV star and it would have ruined her early career?

If she doesn't produce them then we surely have a right to guess?

Produce the records or we will decide for ourselves

    • Well... McCain didn't exactly release his records unless you consider 3 hours for selected reporters to scour over his 1000 page report without the aid of ANY electronics device what so ever, no internet, no phone, no cameras, no voice recorders, just paper and pen.

McCain has alot to hid in those 1000 pages, why should we care what the young and attractive Palin has? I'm sure she's a hundred times more healthy than McCain...

Only thing she could be hiding is that she did not recently give birth... oh the scandal!!
