I read this a number of years ago. I don't recall the misspellings but the content remains accurate.

I do remember the closing which paraphased goes something like don't worry about n*ggers reading about this because we all know they won't read.

As I have said before divide and conquer has and I suppose will always be one of the sucessful methods of control for the ruling class (Yes the US has a ruling class -- we call them the rich).

But look at what Democrats are doing in our major cities across the country. I mean Baltimore had more crime than NYC. It's 1/8 the size of the Big Apple. Difference. MD has and always will be Democratic. The Democratic machine has convinced 13% of the population that their going to solve the problems and yet they dont. Look at Detroit, Baltimore, DC and the list goes on. So, the division are pushed by Elite Democrats telling that same population. We are going to make your life better and the only thing has happened is they get re-elected and people keep suffering. Trust me. The Democrats are no friend of mine.

I was referencing the current Republicans, the ones who are writing Palin speeches that talk about how they see "our America" and etc. I was clearly not referencing Republicans from the time of Lincoln and Harriett Tubman.

The Lynch letter has been around for sometime. It is not known if it real or not. No clear evidence has been found. The poster makes a huge mistake in blaming Republicans for this division. I don't think Lincoln would see it that way nor the Republicans in Congress at the time would agree either. I also think Frederick Douglas and Harriett Tubman would have something to say about if it was Republicans in the South fighting so hard to keep slavery. I am not naive enough to think that the Civil War was only about slaves and free laber vs. paid labor. It also was about keeping the country as one and mainly economics. If the South had've paid blacks instead of enslaving them. They would have made even more money and all those men would not have lost their lives.
